The Fabulous Ones
In the dance piece "The Fabulous Ones", choreographer Elenita Queiróz interweaves philosophical and feminist themes and explores the integration of sound and dance in the tension between chance, physical (non-)presence and everyday life. The piece embraces concepts of chance, chaos, control and sovereignty, and Queiroz's work focuses on the role of women, the female figure, the average and "blurred" body. "The Fabulous Ones" illuminates the complexity and uncertainty of our time and considers ambivalence and imperfection as essential components of the human experience.www.elenitaqueiroz.ch
