Massimo Rocchi
Live – 50 years on stage
“Live – 50 Years on Stage” is the sequel to “Live 1.0”, one of the most popular shows by and starring Massimo Rocchi: “Live – The Balance Between Innovation and Continuity”. Alongside the show’s constant innovations, the audience also learns about Massimo Rocchi’s personal experiences on his journey from Italy, through his studies in Paris, to Switzerland. Massimo Rocchi does not represent a generation or a country, but rather emotions that transcend geographical boundaries. His keen powers of observation, coupled with subtle humour, make “Live – 50 Years on Stage” a truly special show.
The programme by and starring Massimo Rocchi combines pantomime and linguistic acrobatics, offering profound insights into life and the absurdities of human existence. In doing so, he plays with different languages and identities, wandering the world with keen interest. He observes people as they greet one another, order an espresso in a bistro, stroll through a city, attend the theatre, lie on the beach in Rimini, or rush hastily from gate to gate. Massimo Rocchi is a comedian, actor and director. His world is the theatre, which he likes to compare to a big city with its various neighbourhoods and facets.
The building at Hechtplatz 7 will undergo renovation from January 2026. During this time, we will be presenting our programme at Haus Seefeld (Seefeldstrasse 91, 8008 Zurich).
