Corti next level – a quantum leap
Anet Corti takes the plunge – right into the chaos of the world and her own story. After five stage shows, she tackles the big questions of our time: Where is society heading? What does change do to us? And is a quantum leap really the great upheaval – or just a tiny moment that changes everything?
With sharp humour and poetic bewilderment, Corti navigates through personal struggles and societal crises. In a live podcast, the audience can join in by phone, whilst a mysterious mushroom creature challenges them philosophically. Yes, that sounds bonkers. But one thing becomes clear: we are all connected.
Between nightmare and new beginning, Corti describes in her new programme the dissolution of our society – and of herself. But who knows: perhaps in the end we will all rise like a phoenix from the ashes.
‘Corti next level – a quantum leap’ is a piece of spirited, audiovisual theatre. Topical, absurd and deeply human. – Dare to take the next level too! … even if it’s just a small hop.
Anet Corti graduated from the Scuola Teatro Dimitri and was subsequently a member of the Compagnia Teatro Dimitri. Since 2005, she has been touring theatres with her own shows “dbaö – du bisch au öppert”, “win-win – die perfekte Fehlbesetzung auf der Chefetage”, ‘Optimum – bis zum bitteren Maximum’ and ‘Echt? – über Halbwissen und harte Fakten’ on theatre stages. In 2013, she was awarded the ‘Kulturpreis BL – Sparte Kabarett’. Since 2008, she has been a permanent member of the “Bundesordner”, the in-house production of the Casinotheater Winterthur, and since 2002 she has appeared on stage in the “Bingo-Show” with Beat Schlatter. In “Kassensturz” she played “Lisa Sterchi” (2007–2010) and hosted the programme “SRF bi de Lüt – Selbstgemacht” (2013/2014).
The building at Hechtplatz 7 will undergo renovation from January 2026. During this time, we will be presenting our programme at Haus Seefeld (Seefeldstrasse 91, 8008 Zurich).
