Dodo Hug & Band

sleep science

Madâme Dodo Hug, the ‘Grande Dame’ of musical cabaret, is celebrating her 50th anniversary on stage with ‘dodoLogie’ and a ‘best of’ tour featuring her favourite songs and chansons. The programme includes familiar favourites, recent material and sparkling new pieces. ‘The Dodoesque lies in the detail,’ a critic once remarked. And as always, Madâme moves elegantly, sensitively and wittily between the most diverse linguistic landscapes and timbres, creating her unique world of song together with her fellow musicians. “From chansons and global folk to world music – from subtle humour to depth”, multilingual, timeless, soulful and of the highest quality – simply unclassifiable! Whether humorous, poetic, enlightening or playful: Dodo Hug moves you.

If you ask her about her life, she says with a smile: “My career is still very much ongoing!” “I have one foot in the past and live in the present with a direct, open gaze towards the future” (quote from the song “A muso duro” by Pierangelo Bertoli, 1980).

The building at Hechtplatz 7 will undergo renovation from January 2026. During this time, we will be presenting our programme at Haus Seefeld (Seefeldstrasse 91, 8008 Zurich).
