Florian Wagner

The Flo Must Go On

Florian Wagner is best known for his viral series “How would classical composers have written well-known songs?”, which has been viewed millions of times online, or as one half of Ass-Dur.

He is now embarking on a major piano tour with his third solo programme, “The Flo Must Go On”.

New songs that are sometimes political, sometimes silly, sometimes profound, but always delivered with a twinkle in the eye, new virtuoso piano arrangements and a funny joke roughly halfway through the second half – all this awaits you in “The Flo Must Go On”.

From Mozart to Billy Joel, from Bach to Helene Fischer: Florian covers many musical styles and blends them into a varied and rousing musical comedy show.

“I wish I could play the piano like Florian Wagner.” (Bodo Wartke)

“He combines great skill with an equally great sense of ease, and in doing so manages, almost effortlessly, to turn an evening into his own.” (Jury statement, Herborner Schlumpeweck) “Wagner has mastered the provocative art of the cabaret artist in both sound and word down to the last detail.” (Kölnische Rundschau)

“Florian Wagner played masterfully and virtuosically with words, various musical styles, deliberately wrong notes and the expectations of the gleefully giggling audience.” (Saarbrücker Zeitung)

“Wit, esprit, quick-wittedness and a knack for setting fresh ideas to the right rhythm. It was surely precisely this blend of musical talent and charm offensive that inspired the audience to reach roaring heights.” (Süddeutsche Zeitung)

The building at Hechtplatz 7 will undergo renovation from January 2026. During this time, we will be presenting our programme at Haus Seefeld (Seefeldstrasse 91, 8008 Zurich).
