AnnPhie Fritz

SHANTI SCHATZI

AnnPhie Fritz’s debut programme – for which she was awarded second place at the prestigious Passauer Scharfrichterbeil in 2025 and the Silver Broom in Stuttgart in 2026 – is a yoga session with a difference. Actually, AnnPhie just wants to get through her first session as a holistic life coach as smoothly and empathetically as possible. But something always distracts her …

There’s always something that needs explaining, justifying or finishing off quickly. So that she can then truly – I mean, really – be in the moment and confidently guide the audience into ultimate relaxation. If only she weren’t always so tired. Where on earth does this tiredness come from? AnnPhie meditates so intensely, she relaxes so deeply – how on earth can you still be tired!?

So AnnPhie sets out to discover the source of this mysterious exhaustion. In the process, she stumbles across topics such as self-optimisation, social anxiety and shattered dreams; she questions false national pride, imposed role models and political claims, and comes across a whole host of contradictions that not only completely blur her own boundaries but also make the boundaries of reality seem hazy.

AnnPhie pokes fun at society from the perspective of the white, queer-feminist, vegan, yoga-practising millennial ‘snowflake’ that she happens to be. But even old, heterosexual men confirm: this show is very funny. For AnnPhie Fritz’s first solo cabaret show is a fast-paced trip, a journey of leaps of thought, a one-woman show with plenty of physical comedy – (madly) funny, clever and also a bit wicked. She skilfully jumps between scenarios, slips into different roles, takes the audience on a quest for a better world and never fails to surprise. Especially after the interval.

“What a provocative performance, what a brilliant idea, what a bold realisation.” Haller Tagblatt

“A satirical, highly entertaining, charmingly whimsical and masterfully presented solo performance – with a truly unbelievable surprise after the interval. Naturally, we won’t reveal what this novelty on the cabaret stage is all about.” ORF

“A clever, incisive foray into the life of a likeable, messed-up actress, marked by catcallers, yoga Nazis and all manner of other everyday humiliations.” Falter “With intellectual depth.” Die Presse

“Coming from a theatre background, AnnPhie Fritz constructs her cabaret like a structure of ideas. She speeds up, slows down, switches roles, and examines the pressure to self-improve, social expectations and political stances.” Bayerischer Rundfunk
