Tribute to Simon & Garfunkel
The Sound of Silence
What is the secret behind Simon & Garfunkel’s success? On the one hand, it is undoubtedly the vast number of magnificent songs that brought this legendary singing duo lasting fame. On the other hand, it is the flawless, natural voices of these two seemingly unspoilt musicians, who topped the charts several times in the 1960s without any stage show or lighting effects.
Actor Romeo Meyer acts as master of ceremonies throughout the evening, placing the event in its historical context and explaining various aspects of the art and the relationship between Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel.
The singers Anna Känzig and Martina Linn, and the singers Tobias Carshey and Tobias Jensen all play the guitar as well and are accompanied by other musicians.
