Tribute to Ennio Morricone

Tribute to Ennio Morricone featuring Hanna Scheuring, Daniel Rohr, Pepe Lienhard and the Rigiblick Symphonic Orchestra.

We pay homage to one of the greatest composers of the 20th century with a tribute. Ennio Morricone composed music for over 500 films: ‘Once Upon a Time in the West’, ‘My Name is Nobody’, ‘Cinema Paradiso’…

Film director Roberto Faenza says: I remember the music better than the film itself. It carries the film. Morricone created the genre of ‘film music’.

Pepe Lienhard provided the impetus for this long-overdue tribute at the Rigiblick Theatre: ‘If you ever do anything about Ennio Morricone, I’d love to be part of it with all my heart.’ I have the utmost admiration for Morricone. In this tribute, Pepe Lienhard plays the flute, saxophone and various wind instruments.

Hanna Scheuring and Daniel Rohr will present the evening and bring the great composer’s life to life through their performance. Come and dream along with us!
