Report of loss

Two actresses, a singer and a pianist admit to being on the losing side. Keys, a wallet, a tooth, a brain, a heart, splendour, faith, patience – so many things can be lost over the course of a lifetime, until, in the end, one is lost to the world oneself.

Reason enough to take a thorough stock of everything that has vanished, passed away and been forgotten.
The four performers are hoping for support from a list of authors and composers whose names fill a veritable musical and literary lost-and-found.

Songs, ballads, chansons, scenes, prose and poetry are brought together in a colourful mix: Charles Aznavour and Alban Berg come together, Leonard Bernstein encounters Lucia Berlin, Peter Bichsel discovers Dota Kehr, and Wisława Szymborska picks up where Anne Sylvestre left off, passing the baton to Hugo Wiener.

Anyone attending the performance will discover: the unexpected, the familiar, the long-forgotten and a silver lining.
