Guided Tour in "The Sun Hits Us First"

With co-curator Francisco González

The exhibition "The Sun Hits Us First"

Developed in close collaboration with Kawésqar from Southern Chile and Iivid Inuit from East Greenland, the exhibition takes its title from Tsarqardiid, the Iivid name for their homeland, where the morning sun first touches the people and their land.

Drawing on Indigenous knowledge and experiences, both communities share perspectives on life in maritime environments, colonial histories and self-determination.

Above all, the exhibition creates a space for dialogue, finding common ground and imagining shared futures with one another and with us.
