Relationships in everyday working life

On the fragile order of collaborative work

Cooperation and trust are particularly relevant in the world of work where routines reach their limits – for example, in situations of uncertainty, disruption or pressure to adapt. Cooperation, trust and conflict can be understood as intertwined forms of regulation of action. Cooperation presupposes trust, whilst trust is either strengthened or undermined by successful or unsuccessful collaboration. Conflicts are not primarily understood as disruptions, but as an independent form of regulation within relationships, in which differences become visible and can be addressed.
