Income and wealth: distribution and redistribution – for whom?
Which income and wealth groups have grown significantly in recent years, which have stagnated, and where do the main risks of poverty lie? This course provides a comprehensive overview of trends in income and wealth in Switzerland. Among other things, it examines the high level of social mobility by international standards and the question of how equality of opportunity can be strengthened. A further focus is on the tax system, as well as on public policy strategies and measures relating to equality and inequality in Switzerland.
