Cyanotype workshop at the Floragarten
Would you like to experience the garden and the Villa Flora museum in a creative way? After a brief introduction to cyanotype, a photographic process developed in 1842, we’ll draw inspiration from the historic garden. In the garden of Villa Flora, we’ll collect flowers and leaves, create our own floral images and let the sun expose them. We’ll experiment with different materials and watch as our images emerge in blue through light and water, in keeping with the current exhibition Tout est lumière.
A creative workshop for adults and young people aged 12 and over. No prior artistic or creative experience is required. Materials are provided.
Cost: The workshop costs CHF 85 including materials. Museum admission is to be paid for separately.
Registration: anita.vetter@gmx.ch
Number of participants: 5 to a maximum of 9 people
Organised by: Anita Vetter, cultural mediator and volunteer gardener at Villa Flora
In the event of bad weather, the workshop will take place in the Villa Flora studio.
