Sämi Zünd & The Apollo Brothers
A Tribute to Frank Sinatra
The sextet line-up stems from an idea conceived by the master himself: in the early 1960s, Sinatra embarked on an extended world tour with the legendary Red Norvo/Bill Miller sextet. The set list featured contemporary swing hits such as ‘Come Fly with Me’ and ‘Fly Me to the Moon’. In the true spirit of Sinatra, Sämi Zünd is now expanding his programme to include pop evergreens from the 60s and 70s such as “Strangers in the Night” and “Summerwind”. Sämi Zünd has a long-standing collaboration with the top-class jazz musicians from Eastern Switzerland, The Apollo Brothers, in the field of sophisticated light music.
