About Us! - Zurich transcultural
The festival of cultural diversity in the neighborhoods of Oerlikon, Affoltern and Albisrieden
The About Us! festival makes the cultural diversity of the city of Zurich visible and tangible with music, dance, theater, poetry slam, walks, readings and talks. Highlights include: "Surprise Box," a head cinema that scares away prejudices and invites you to a colorful family parade; "Die Teppichstange," a performative walk to the last remaining poles in Affoltern and their stories; "Festplätze Albisrieden," a walk to public places; "Vielsprachige Schweiz," a project of the Literaturhaus Zürich; "Fremd Zuhause," an interactive audio walk that explores one's own foreignness with stories from different countries.
