Alphorn ensemble: 7-session course starting on 21 April 2026
The joy of making music is more important than playing flawlessly.
With the aim of expanding musical expression in ensemble playing, we will work on well-known and less frequently played alphorn pieces and improvisations. We will learn to consciously use musical parameters (such as dynamics, phrasing, articulation, rhythm, agogics and tempo) in order to achieve a shared, convincing and differentiated expression of written and improvised alphorn music.
The joy of making music is more important than playing flawlessly. The focus is on conscious creativity.
