On the platform

For the anthology *Am Bahnsteig*, the editors Wolfram Schneider-Lastin and Hugo Ramnek invited around thirty authors to write a story set at a railway station. A railway station is more than just a place where trains arrive. Stations are also places of farewells and new beginnings. From stations, young men set off for war; refugees, full of hope, set foot on as yet unknown soil. Whether it’s a bustling main station, a shabby suburban station or a remote request-stop: joy and sorrow meet on the same platform, in Vienna just as much as in Wädenswil or Wellingtonbridge.
Following a moderated discussion with the editors and a reading, we invite you to join us for a discussion.
