BAD FAITH - Film & Talk

Swiss premiere

The documentary ‘Bad Faith’ traces how Christian nationalism has gained influence in the USA and the role it plays in the country’s political development. The film sheds light on the intertwining of Christian faith, national identity and political power.

Following the screening, Thorsten Dietz, a theologian and co-author of the book ‘Christian Nationalism in the USA’, will provide theological and social context. Together, we will discuss why Christian nationalism is not merely a US phenomenon, but also has international implications – and what responsibilities churches, theology and religious education bear today.

An event organised in cooperation with the Zurich Institute for Interreligious Dialogue (ZIID).
