An Alpine adventure packed with bluegrass music, excitement and explosives. Despite the climb, 100% free of muscle soreness.
Hurrah! We’re off on a trip. With Mark Twain. To the Swiss Alps. On foot, no less. It’s 1878. To start with, we oversleep five spectacular sunrises. Afterwards, we drink bucketfuls of Alpine milk, get lost in the fog just four metres from the hotel and silence yodelling dairymen with a small tip. For days on end, we show off with our Alpine walking sticks, then it’s time for a break. After the break, we conquer the dreaded Riffelberg. In our evening wear!
Oh yes! It’s going to be tough and it’s all uphill! We’ll need explosives… We’ll curse, we’ll smoke and we’ll be desperate. But in the end, Zermatt lies at our feet.
