Beethoven goes to Movies
Beethoven Meets Film Music
What links Ludwig van Beethoven to *Mission: Impossible*, *James Bond*, *Star Wars*, *Rocky* and *Pirates of the Caribbean*? More than you might think at first glance: suspense, drama, powerful rhythms and melodies that stick in your mind straight away.
In ‘Beethoven goes to Movies’, Beethoven’s world-famous works meet legendary film music. The More Than Classic string quartet guides the audience through an afternoon of concert performances blending classical music with iconic cinema moments. Short introductions accompany the programme, highlighting fascinating connections between Beethoven and the world of film.
Especially after hectic weeks full of work, appointments and screen time, we often lack a moment that truly captivates us whilst also giving us space to switch off. This live concert in Zurich offers precisely this respite: listen, immerse yourself and leave everyday life behind for 75 minutes.
