Movement – Stillness – Freedom

Movement and stillness seem to be opposites. Yet sometimes it is precisely in pausing that the strength for a new beginning arises. Freedom, in turn, can mean moving, overcoming boundaries – or consciously standing still. These different states and their subtle transitions form the conceptual space within which Daniela Bosshard’s works operate.

Her works invite you to let your gaze wander, to pause and to engage in a personal encounter with the art. It is not about finding a single, definitive answer. Rather, each picture opens up its own space for thoughts, feelings and individual interpretations.

Opening reception with music and drinks

The exhibition will open on Friday, 2 October 2026, at 5 pm . The speech will be given by Angelika Domenig. Musical performances will accompany the opening and lend the evening a special atmosphere. During the reception that follows, there will be an opportunity for personal conversation with the artist and the guests. The opening will last until around 9.00 pm.

Closing event on 18 October
To mark the end of the exhibition, Daniela Bosshard invites you to the closing event on Sunday, 18 October 2026, from 11 am to 5 pm . Once again, there will be an opportunity to view the works at your leisure, to chat with the artist and to bring the exhibition to a close together.

Daniela Bosshard is delighted that her works create a space where movement is possible – but also stillness. A space where the eye is allowed to linger, and perhaps it is precisely from this that a sense of freedom arises.
