Slide show: Beavers
Architect of the floodplains
For over ten years, Nicolas Stettler has spent countless evenings each summer with a beaver family. During this time, he has collected numerous photographs and stories of unforgettable encounters. His fascination with these intelligent animals eventually led him to write his bachelor’s and master’s theses on beavers. In this talk, he will not only recount his impressive encounters with these fascinating animals.
Nicolas also discusses their impact on the entire habitat and offers a glimpse behind the scenes of beaver research. The talk is accompanied by numerous photos and videos he has taken over the years.
