Blackout Poetry – DIY with Meli from Heissliim & Glitzer
Blackout poetry involves creating new poems from existing texts: specific words are highlighted and the rest of the page is coloured in or artistically painted over. At the open DIY session with Melanie Mitrovic, you can try your hand at ‘blackout poetry’ and creatively reimagine texts.
You can bring your own book; materials will also be provided free of charge, and Meli will be on hand to offer helpful creative input for you and your craft project. No prior experience is needed, and the event is open to everyone without prior registration – do pop in for a 15–30-minute Blackout session!
