Brücki Performance Window 13
Circus, dance and theatre for children and young people
Brücki 235 – Zurich’s self-managed space for the performing arts – is making room for young audiences – from the very youngest to teenagers. Brücki 235 is making its debut at the Zirkusquartier, transforming it into a place for big questions, wild imaginations and unusual encounters. The performances take their audience on journeys – to the moon, through time, into friendship and into fantastical worlds. They tell stories of belonging and friendship, of setting out and home, of possessions and responsibility, of closeness and change.
Through circus, clowning, dance, music, physical theatre and playful stage worlds, spaces are created where children and adults can marvel, laugh, ask questions and reflect together. Sometimes sensual and poetic, sometimes Dadaist and wild, sometimes humorous and touching: the focus is always on the encounter – with others, with oneself and with the world in which we live.

Zeitfresser
Sophia Pervilhac / Interways Theatre
11:00 – 12:00
Ages 2 and up
A performer encounters a strange time-being – together they explore time, play and transformation. Sand trickles through their hands, making time a sensory experience; afterwards, the stage becomes an open island of discovery for children and their carers.

AGAJ ABAB
Pippo in Space
7.00 pm – 7.45 pm
Ages 16 and over
A dystopian clown, a demonic bride, a ghostly witch-like figure and the silent Nonna inhabit a dreamlike, wild world somewhere between Dada, punk and performance art. A scream. Amniotic fluid on ashes. A tongue licks sugar from a head that wasn’t there a moment ago. Something is weighed and then eaten. A prayer gets caught between the teeth. And the fire whispers a song that knows no remorse.
Between violence and tenderness, chaos and melancholy, every space becomes an invitation to an unpredictable interplay of bodies, sounds and images.
Content warning: Loud screams, depictions of childbirth, bodily fluids, implied violence, witch trials, fog, chaos.
Sunday, 8 November
On the Road
Clowns on the Road
3.00 pm – 4.00 pm
For all ages
Four clowns are on the move – on the run, on holiday, in search of adventure or simply travelling into the unknown. Through juggling, music, humour and touching encounters, the piece tells the story of being on the move. There is laughter, but also mourning for what has been lost. Friendships are formed and a love story begins to blossom.

ON THE MOON
Cie. Youkali
6.30 pm – 7.30 pm
Ages 6 and over
Rocket launch. The astronauts leave the atmosphere, float in weightlessness and approach the Moon. But then: alarm. A perilous landing, in a place that is no less menacing. Enchanting, distant and largely unknown – the laws here are entirely different from those on humanity’s home planet. Here, what was previously taken for granted is thrown into question: territory, ownership, one’s own place in the world.
‘ON THE MOON’ is a production by Cie. Youkali, combining aerial acrobatics, dance, physical theatre, live sound and scientific content. Navigating between fact and fantasy, it embarks on a visually rich journey into space, where it encounters questions about humanity’s relationship with the environment.
