Claudio Constantini

Piano meets bandoneon, European classical music meets the musical language of South America: Claudio Constantini brings two musical worlds together at the Neumünster in Zurich. The Peruvian musician performs works by Astor Piazzolla, combining them with his own compositions and improvised passages. At times elegant and understated, at others brimming with rhythmic energy, the result is a varied solo recital in which both instruments are able to showcase their very distinct timbres.
