Close Encounters Festival
For twenty years, the Swiss-Georgian festival Close Encounters has been promoting encounters and collaborations, experimental spaces for playing and thinking. It facilitates intensive exchange between participating musicians – across geographical distances, but also across scenes and styles: in Switzerland as in Georgia, Close Encounters continues to position itself decisively across institutional, stylistic and scene-related boundaries, thereby bringing together a wide variety of audiences.
