Cuca Roseta

Saudade | Feelings | Melancholy

Fado is a unique blend of longing, melancholy and passion. Rare are the musical styles around the world where emotions run as deep as in this Portuguese tradition.

Cuca Roseta is one of the most celebrated international voices of contemporary fado. Renowned for her emotional intensity, authenticity and her captivating stage presence, she has established herself as a leading ambassador for Portuguese culture.

With deep roots in tradition and yet unmistakeably modern, Roseta has forged an eye-catching international career. Her art transcends boundaries, enabling her to appear in some of the most famous venues in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia, all the while preserving the very essence of this music.

Throughout her time as an artist, she has performed with such household names as Andrea Bocelli, Julio Iglesias, Djavan and Seu Jorge – a reflection not only of her versatility but also her global recognition as one of the most outstanding voices in world music today.

Roseta is now presenting her latest concert entitled ‘Tradição’ – a resolutely personal project which marks a return to the roots of the original fado. She and her band go right to the heart of the timeless beauty of Portugal’s musical heritage, treating the audience to an unforgettable experience.
