‘The Silent Friend’ – a literary evening exploring life, hope and the human condition
With *Der stille Freund* (The Silent Friend), Ferdinand von Schirach brings a new programme to Zurich, developed specifically for the stage. The internationally acclaimed writer and lawyer explores the big questions of human existence: friendship and hope, success and failure, life and death.
Inspired by his book of the same name, this literary evening combines philosophical reflections with personal stories, encouraging the audience to reflect.
Von Schirach’s works have been published in over 40 countries and have sold millions of copies. His plays *Terror* and *Gott* are among the most talked-about contemporary dramas. The author can now be seen live at the Tonhalle Zürich with his new stage programme.
