Las Noches Festival: Joncol and Hector Rodriguez Duo

Las Noches is an international festival of Ibero-American chamber music. It will take place from 29 September to 4 October 2026, for the sixth time at the Stok Theatre in Zurich.

Since 2008, the Duo Joncol has been captivating audiences with their expressive guitar playing, blending Spanish classical music, flamenco and jazz. After studying in Barcelona and Cologne, the multi-award-winning musicians completed a Master’s degree in Lucerne. Their international concert career has taken them throughout Europe and the Americas. In addition to their own arrangements and compositions, they have released three albums to date.

Hèctor Rodríguez Palacios is a Zurich-based flautist and teacher. He teaches at the ZHdK and works as a project manager at the FHNW. His artistic work ranges from historical performance practice to contemporary music, for which he won the prestigious Swiss Concours Nicati in 2023. He studied in Dresden, Zurich and Trossingen and regularly collaborates with leading Baroque and chamber ensembles as well as orchestras.
