Florian Favre Solo
«Idantitâ»
For his new solo album «Identitâ», Florian Favre took inspiration from pieces of the Freiburg cultural heritage and newly interprets these with the help of his loyal companion – the piano. They are stories about elves, mountains, exile and naive beauty. Simultaneously these stories find themselves as a collective imagination deconstructed, community values are questioned with much humour and lightness. Just how really good Favre is at multi-tasking he demonstrates with dreamy humming, as a one-man choir that gets the sun to rise or through operations in the belly of the piano, which takes the instrument to its sound limits.
