FLUX CREW B-GIRL BATTLES
"Peace, love, unity and having fun" - that's what they say in Breaking, isn't it? But who has friends, who is part of the unity? Who is included and who is not? In "B-Girl Battles" three dancers fight back and talk about the sexism, the norms and the injustices they encounter every day in the breaking scene. Their bodies form into statements, twirl and scream, spin in circles and slam the facts to the floor. "Peace, love, unity and having fun", sure. But for whom? A dance piece by and with Pia Ringel, Celia Bermúdez and Ida Winter.
