Whether playing on Mont Blanc or on the concert stage, Gautier Capuçon is never afraid to take a risk. His latest coup: the world premiere of the cello concerto by Max Richter, one of the most important film score composers of our time (including ‘Hamnet’, 2026). Immediately following the Paris premiere, Capuçon will present the piece in Switzerland. The second half features Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony, the ‘Fate Symphony’, a musical reflection of a crisis-ridden era, a struggle between a premonition of death and a thirst for life.
