With sonic sophistication – chamber music by J.N. Hummel and Frédéric Chopin
Frédéric Chopin is regarded as the man who revolutionised piano playing, as his oeuvre consists almost entirely of piano works. In his early years, however, he also composed chamber music and piano concertos. In the spectacular Grande Finale of the ‘Flügelschläge’ festival, Els Biesemans and Ensemble Elsewhere will perform, amongst other works, Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor.
