World premiere of a folk oratorio
HackBrett – Organ Pipe – Alpine Horn
The Sängerbund Wetzikon male voice choir, together with the Bergbrünneli Küsnacht Yodelling Club, will be premiering a new work by their conductor, Grégoire May. The central theme is an old Swiss fairy-tale character from the Grimm fairy tale ‘The Three Languages’. May has woven the narrative of this enchanting fairy tale together with a series of existing, thematically appropriate songs. The programme features the dulcimer virtuoso Nicolas Senn (‘Potzmusig’) as soloist.
