Hello Betty
Feature film (Switzerland, 2025), directed by Pierre Monnard
In 1956, advertising copywriter Emmi Creola invents the fictional character Betty Bossi, who quickly becomes a Swiss culinary icon. Many people believe that Mrs Bossi actually exists, and Emmi unexpectedly finds herself in the spotlight. However, her professional success and personal demands increasingly threaten to tear her apart. The film shows how a woman fights to carve out her place in a male-dominated world – a theme that is just as relevant today as it was back then.
Ages 6 and over, 108 minutes, original version
Director Pierre Monnard will be present at the screening.
