Innovative Appenzell string music
The Küng siblings
With wit, charm and passion, the Küng siblings weave familiar pieces from their predecessors with new works penned by Roland Küng – creating their own distinctive musical language. The search for diverse moods, authentic emotions and archaic imagery runs like a thread through their current programme. Whether rustic, danceable, lively or melancholic, calm or contemplative – the audience is treated to a world of sound brimming with emotion that reflects the essence of the Appenzell folk spirit.
