The painter is a tireless observer of nature. Whether in botanical gardens around the world, in the jungles of Asia, in the salt marshes of the Camargue, or simply in the gardens of the Uster care homes. Everywhere she goes, she discovers the most diverse forms of life, which ultimately come together in her meticulously painted works of art.

Have you ever heard of an Aristolochia, a dragon’s tongue or the sun bride? Or did you know that mangoes and persimmons grow in Uster?

All this results in images based on nature studies in unusually surreal combinations, so that it is sometimes unclear whether one is underwater or on land. In a miniature world, sitting on a bean or flying alongside purple potatoes and hot chillies.
