No – But
Racism in the workplace

Doors open at 18:30

Racism in the workplace is a serious issue – legally, socially and economically. Discrimination on the grounds of skin colour, origin, language or religion violates the personal dignity of those affected. When it occurs in the workplace, it strains the working atmosphere, undermines trust within the team and has a negative impact on collaboration.

Employers are legally obliged to create a discrimination-free working environment and to respond consistently to racist incidents. Taking a clear stand against racism fosters respect, equal opportunities and a shared sense of responsibility within the organisation.

In the forum theatre piece ‘Kein – Aber’, participants explore a racist incident in the workplace. They experience how everyday racism manifests itself – often subtly, sometimes openly – and, within a safe space, try out specific ways of responding.
