What human colour vision reveals about evolution

The Forum for Critical Thinking invites you to a lecture by Prof. Dr Stephan C. F. Neuhauss, Professor of Neurobiology and Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Zurich.

He will demonstrate how our colour vision has developed over the course of evolution – with impressive capabilities, but also limitations and compromises. It is precisely the imperfections of our visual system that provide valuable insights into its origins and help us to better understand the mechanisms of evolution.

Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.
