Pâqu'son 2024 Easter Music Festival
Nagori - Manouche World Extended
Samuel Thézé: Clarinets
Xavier Margogne: Guitar
Stéphane Cozic: double bass
Mohamed Abozekry: oud
Javier Estrella: percussions
Bastien Charlery: Accordion
The music of Fils Canouche is timeless, boundless and can only be approximated by the terms world or gypsy. Simply extended. From arabesque to tango, from classical music to jazz, the six cosmopolitan French musicians not only demonstrate an irrepressible joy of playing, they also move back and forth between genres with stylistic confidence and virtuosity, allowing clarinet, oud and accordion to dance with and against each other, creating ever surprising new moments in the flow of world grooves.
