Lila Downs
Mexican soundscapes blending folk, cumbia and jazz – live with her band at the Kaufleuten in Zurich.
With her expressive voice and a deep connection to her Mexican roots, Lila Downs creates a musical world full of colour and stories. The singer, a multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy award-winner, blends traditional sounds with folk, cumbia, jazz and modern influences.
On her ‘Cambias Mi Mundo’ tour, she reveals a particularly personal and acoustic side to her artistry. New original compositions blend with rousing rhythms, emotional depth and the unmistakable energy of her live performances. Together with her band, Lila Downs brings a slice of Mexican musical culture to the Kaufleuten in Zurich – for her only concert in Switzerland.
