Live Podcast – A City for Everyone
What inclusion means in everyday life
What does it take to make a city accessible to everyone and ensure that people with disabilities can participate as a matter of course? The team behind the Kontrast podcast speaks to Matyas Sagi-Kiss, who has been working on inclusion and the participation of people with disabilities for many years and brings together different perspectives from both professional practice and society.
We discuss what is needed to ensure successful participation in everyday life, what barriers still exist and how they can be removed. What options does a town have to actively promote inclusion, and what contribution can we all make? We’ll also be looking at the path Wetzikon has taken: with its new Inclusion Coordination Office, the town has embedded the issue more firmly. Together, we’ll examine what it takes to make a town for everyone a reality, step by step.
The event is free of charge. No registration is required.
The Regional Library is fully accessible. A lift and an accessible toilet are available. A quiet room is provided.
The discussion will be conducted in language that is as simple and easy to understand as possible.
Do you require sign language or written interpretation? Please do get in touch with us as early as possible. We will try to accommodate last-minute requests wherever possible.
