LOLITA - A lacquered and impenetrable pop surface. Invulnerable. Childlike. Assaultive. Obscene. A term warped from a girl's name to a pop icon. A provocative advertising slogan. A buzzword full of illusions and projections.
This work assembles images and rhythms in which romanticisation and shame, façade and exposure, laughter and pain are interwoven - perpetrators and victims who struggle on both sides for our trust and for credibility. We walk the ridge between the positions and seek the truth where one can slip.
