Manga workshop: Drawing characters with manus
He is one of Switzerland’s most promising manga artists: manus. In this workshop, he’ll show you how to draw manga yourself. His four-volume series *Severed* features action-packed scenes, subtle humour and a gripping story that offers a glimmer of hope.
After studying animation in Lucerne, manus moved to Tokyo, where he sketched the first drafts for a manga project in his exercise book whilst attending Japanese lessons.
Now, in this workshop, he’ll show you how to draw and develop characters – such as Akane, the main character in “Severed”.
Paper, pencils and erasers will be provided. Limited number of places.
For aspiring mangaka aged 14 and over.
