Mozart over lunch
The lunch concerts are entering their second season!
The Lunch Concerts are entering their second season! The series will once again be opened by chief conductor Roberto González-Monjas, who has already provided amazing insights into the pieces in his previous lunchtime concert presentations.
You'd think you knew Mozart's overture to The Magic Flute inside out: Mozart specialist González-Monjas will also reveal his background knowledge in this concert and know how to surprise, both with the "Magic Flute" and with the inter-act music of the heroic drama "Thamos, King of Egypt".
Programme:
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Overture to the opera "The Magic Flute" in E flat major, K. 620
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Three interludes from "Thamos, King of Egypt", K. 345
Francis Poulenc - Sinfonietta
