The Ensemble TaG brings together musical worlds that, at first glance, seem to have little in common: historical sounds meet new playing techniques, complex structures meet catchy melodies, music meets movement. With curiosity, a joy in playing and a zest for experimentation, surprising connections and new perspectives emerge. An invitation to discover, marvel and listen.

A musical lunchtime interlude at the museum: sit or lie down, dream, immerse yourself and relax. Local and national musicians whisk you away into their very own personal world of sound – simple, acoustic and crafted with love.

‘Musik über Mittag’ is a labour of love collaboration between the Winterthur Music Festival and the Gewerbemuseum Winterthur. Once again this year, all three museum concerts are designed as ‘Relaxed Performances’. Our aim is to create an inclusive environment where, as far as possible, few sensory stimuli (triggers) are present. The following measures are in place for these events: the doors are left open and there are no strobe lights or other special effects. Very loud, sudden bursts of music are also avoided, and the audience is free to move around the room, sit or lie down.
