A guitar sound like a mountain range. Raw and rugged. Then, at other times, vast, quiet and surprisingly tender. Solong, alias Klara Germanier, moves with her music between indie-folk, rock and poetic exploration of sound. Accompanied by a voice that sounds both clear and raw, and songs that tell of new beginnings, longing and the contradictory sides of life. Music with rough edges, depth and a view.

A musical lunchtime break at the museum: sit or lie down, dream, immerse yourself and relax. Local and national musicians whisk you away into their very own personal world of sound – simple, acoustic and crafted with love.

‘Musik über Mittag’ is a labour of love collaboration between the Winterthur Music Festival and the Gewerbemuseum Winterthur. Once again this year, all three museum concerts are designed as ‘Relaxed Performances’. Our aim is to create an inclusive environment where as few sensory stimuli (triggers) as possible are present. The following measures are in place for these events: the doors are left open and there are no strobe lights or other special effects. Very loud, sudden bursts of music are also avoided, and the audience is free to move about the room, sit or lie down.
