Overtones, improvisation & natural sounds
A course with Marcello Wick on 1 February and 1 March 2027, 6.30 pm – 9.00 pm
We explore the voice, yodel cheekily and wildly, and sing our hearts out!
We explore a new way of listening and discover the possibilities for modulating the voice through overtone singing. We delve into the depths of the overtones and marvel at all the sounds and colours in between.
Becoming free, letting go – until we can coax feather-light improvisations and cries of joy from our voices. In the moment, musical works emerge from the group that transcend what we can explain – when we are connected and ‘all ears’.
An unconventional yodelling experience for anyone ready to embark on a journey to their own voice.
