The Partial overtone choir invites you to its ‘Stardust’ programme. A vocal ensemble with a unique choral sound combined with fascinating overtone singing.
International choral repertoire with regional roots spans the period from the 13th century to the present day.
‘Sternenstaub’ combines international choral repertoire with regional roots, spanning a period from the 13th century to the present day. The medieval ‘Laude Novella’ offers a glimpse into the skies of yesteryear, whilst the newly arranged ‘Änneli’ tells of a lost star of love. Romance songs such as ‘Stailas’ celebrate the vastness and stillness of the starry sky, as does Marie-Claire Saindon’s contemporary work ‘Common Silence’. With ‘Northern Lights’ and the new composition ‘Alpenlichter’, the concert takes on a luminous sense of the present. Choral improvisations and archaic rhythms expand the programme into an immediate dimension that makes one forget space and time.
