Orpheum - Young Soloists on Stage

It is a novelty in the history of Orpheum to present two soloists who have already attracted international attention as sixteen-year-olds. Their profound musicality and technical brilliance, coupled with an astonishingly mature creative power, have already convinced many renowned promoters and their audiences as well as the press.

We are delighted to offer these two promising musicians a platform in Zurich to introduce them to a new audience and, at the same time, to provide them with valuable musical impulses through our collaboration with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich under Paavo Järvi.

Both Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto and Chopin's Second Piano Concerto have rightly been counted among the most important masterpieces of the Romantic period for decades. With Ravel's "La valse", the orchestra concludes the evening with a virtuoso and sonorous calling card.
